Before this starts, I wrote this on Sunday but managed to forget to post it until today. Whoops!
Hey my majessties,
So, I am going to call this my early morning ramble even though it is currently 11:36 am. Give me a break, it's Sunday and I am a college student.
First off, can someone tell me why my football team sucks this year? It gets really annoying when they lose to bad teams. Like Kentucky? Really?
And why the heck is it actually cold here? Compared to the North-East it may still be warm but I guess I have gotten used to the warmth because yesterday was 64 degrees at night and I was absolutely freezing. Of course I did not bring any of my big coats or anything because I thought I would basically be immune to the "cold" here since home is much worse. Well that is just a piece of crap.
And I am really hungry right now. My roommates asleep and I am supposed to be doing homework so I am still in my pajamas, but I can feel the hanger coming on. (Hunger + Anger in case anyone doesn't know that reference).
Ok so yesterday I was walking down the sidewalk going somewhere, who knows where, and the people in front of me were walking really slowly. And that's fine, I'll just pass them. FALSE. As soon as I try they awkwardly speed up and spread out across the sidewalk so I cannot pass them on either side. So I start awkwardly walking back and forth trying to find the perfect time to get past them.
Anyone ever have to run through a jump rope? Like a double dutch sized one and people spin it slow enough that the point is to run through it? And you just kind of sway forward and back until you get the motion of the rope and are able to run through it. Still terrifies me to the day. You could easily trip or get hit in the face. But that reminds me of the perfect timing needed to pass someone.
Wow, okay that got off topic. But this is a ramble so I will let it slide. And this is all happening with my roommate asleep in her bed across from me. She has no idea.
Speaking of sleep and roommates, turns out I talk in my sleep a lot. I know I have mentioned this before in a post about college that you can read here. But I think it is getting worse. I wake up most days and she has a weird story to tell me. Once I had a dream that Chuck Bass was in my bed, apparently. I guess binge watching Gossip Girl on Netflix has not been helping my health at all.
But I guess I keep things interesting. She was not happy though one night when I was apparently very frustrated with her. What can I say? I don't remember it the next morning so I do not think I can technically be blamed. I plead insanity.
Ok, it is almost noon so I think that is an acceptable time to either wake her up or just go to lunch alone like the loner I pretend not to be. I hope you enjoyed this ramble because I always like just talking, or typing. Leave a comment if you have a habit of rambling too. We can ramble to each other!
Enjoy!
Jess
PS. Like my new blog design? This took way too long to do so don't tell me if you don't like it. K thanks. Xx
