Spring Break!

Hey my majessties,

A break from school finally came last week because it was spring break!!!

My family and I took a bit of a drive down to Florida for the week to soak up some much needed sun and fun. And my cousin and his family joined us, which made the week even better.

We rented a house in Anna Maria, Florida which is about 8 hours away from me and 20 away from my parents. Stinks for them. They picked me up Friday night around 2AM and we drove two more hours before sleeping the rest of the night away. After resuming the drive on Saturday morning, we arrived around 4 and were greeted with a nice house and heated pool. But more importantly, 80 degree weather!!

The first couple days were just spent tanning and realizing by the water or going on bike rides around the town looking for the next ice cream place. And I am proud to say that I did not get sunburned. Whoop whoop.

Tuseday was probably the most exiting day because we went to Universal Studios in Orlando. We met up with my friend Allie and her bf Adam for the day. And hands-down the best part was Harry Potter World. It was crazy. I'll just leave it at that because it is kind of hard to wrap your head around.

I am not a big fan of rides but everyone managed to get me on a few. (I just closed my eyes during the ride if I didn't like it). Needless to say my eyes were closed basically the entire time during the Mummy ride. But I think I should get a pat on the back for at least going on it.

Once the day finished and Allie and I said our long goodbyes (we won't see each other until summer break), we headed back to have a really nice, long sleep.

Wednesday was another busy day. We didn't have to get up too early but around 11 we got back into the car and drove to Clearwater, FL for a Phillies Spring Training game. This was definitely more exciting for my family than my cousins but oh well. And we beat the Pittsburgh Pirates! But once the game finished and we got out of the horrific traffic, we spent the rest of the day by the pool catching up on all the relaxation time we had missed.

Thursday separated the men from the women. The girls got to spend another day at the beach and hanging out while the men spent the entire afternoon fishing. But they did catch what would be our dinner on Friday!

Friday was our last full day in Florida and we all took advantage of it. We went to get ice cream again and all ended up on the beach to watch the sunset and play frisbee in the water. Plenty of group photos were taken to help us remember the trip, too.

This past week was such a nice break and we all really enjoyed it. It is going to be tough getting back into the swing of things at school but I guess I have to accept that spring break is over. Now just a month and a half until summer break! I cannot believe I am almost done my freshman year of college!

Enjoy!

A Little Holiday Cheer

Hey my majessties,

So, it is officially the most wonderful time of the year. And the big event is only three days away. How does that even happen?

Winter is one of my favorite seasons for multiple reasons. I like wearing comfy sweaters and leggings. Nothing gets more comfortable than that. For a month, I do not have to worry about writing any essays or doing any school work. And I get to see my friends from high school again. It's nice to see each other and hear about all the fun things that people have been getting up to.

Wanderlust

Hey my majessties,

So one day in one of my classes, we had a guest speaker talk to us about study abroad. Now that has always been in my plans for college. I mean, for awhile I had the ingenious plan to study abroad in England for all four years. And although that may not have happened, I plan to study abroad during my four years.

But this presentation really got me thinking. There are so many places that I have been fortunate to visit but there are even more that I have not experienced yet. I want to sit at a cafe in Paris. I want to go back to Nice, France. I want to go to Spain even if I don't know the language.

Is Anyone Still Here?

Hey my Majessties,

I know, I officially fail as a blogger. But, you do have to give me some leeway. I have been so busy this summer with going on vacation with my family and packing for college that blogging has not been at the forefront of my mind. And so, I am now going to try to get back into the swing of things.

Now that I am finally moved into my dorm and have met people, I can really say that I am enjoying college. I can't give a full review just yet because I haven't had the opportunity to join any clubs yet and classes just started last Thursday but I can tell you that high school is so last year.

Sunny San Francisco!

Before this even starts, sorry it's been weeks. My stupid account hasn't been letting me post my blogs. Xx

Hey my Majessties!

So I've been pretty absent from all social media sites for the last couple days and that's because I have been in San Francisco! I went to meet up with two of my best friends I met a few years ago and it was so much fun.

So Close to Spring Break

Hey my Majessties,

So, I don't know about everyone, but my spring break starts this coming week. And it feels like it's been forever since I was off from school. Seriously, if you think about it, the third marking period has been spread out over four months while the fourth will be a month and a half. All because of Mother Nature and her stupid love for snow. I got it at the time, snow days were great, but now that we've been in school for so long since winter break, I've realized we ended up getting the short end of the stick.

Obviously we're better off than the underclassmen though. They have to go basically another month after the seniors finish. It's a good year to be senior.
